Lt Gen (Dr) SUBRATA SAHA, PVSM, UYSM, YSM, VSM** (Retd)

Lt Gen (Dr) Subrata Saha a former Deputy Chief of Army Staff and Member of the National Security Advisory Board, is a decorated officer with extensive experience in various key roles within the Indian Army. Notable positions include his tenure as the 15 Corps Commander in Kashmir and his leadership of the Army Design Bureau. His remarkable service has earned him several prestigious medals and commendations, such as the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, and COAS Commendations. In addition to his military service, he holds a Ph.D. and multiple master's degrees. He is also a Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies, and his writings on defence and strategic matters are widely published.
