Amb SHAMSHER M CHOWDHURY

Amb Shamsher Mubin Chowdhury, born in 1950, started his career in the military and was awarded the Bir Bikram for his valour during the Bangladesh War of Liberation in 1971. He later transitioned to a diplomatic career, serving in various roles and representing Bangladesh in international forums. He held the position of Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, served as Ambassador to the United States, and was a UN Commissioner at the International Civil Service Commission. Chowdhury completed an Executive Course on Water Security at Harvard University in 2013.
