Carice Witte is the Founder and Executive Director of SIGNAL Group, an Israeli policy organisation specialising in China-Israel and China-Middle East affairs. Since 2011, she has fostered China-Israel relations by initiating Chinese-Israeli Track II exchanges and launching an annual program in Israel for Chinese faculty to teach Israeli Studies. This initiative led to the establishment of Israeli Studies programs at universities across China. Ms. Witte has conducted over 1,000 briefings in both China and Israel and established significant dialogues and conferences, including an annual conference on Israel's China policy in 2016 and a semi-annual China-Israel-U.S. Track II dialogue in 2017. In 2019, she launched a seminar series for international China experts and policy professionals, which evolved into a monthly gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic. A recognised expert on China-Israel affairs, she has authored numerous articles and research papers focusing on China's policies affecting Israel and the Middle East.
